This is a 7 day (Saturday – Saturday) sailing trip starting from Fethiye and is meant for people who want to experience the Turkish Turquoise Coast.
Please note that all restaurants and activities listed are suggestions only, and are not included in the price. The trip can be changed according to your wishes, i.e. stopovers can be added or removed.
The itinerary depends on the weather conditions and can be changed accordingly. The turquoise that can not be seen anywhere else in the whole world…
About the route
Starting point: Fethiye
Arrival: We can arrange a transfer from the airport to the marina for you. The transfer is not included in the price.
About: Fethiye is a city and district in Mugla province. It is one of the famous tourist destinations on the Turkish Riviera. Modern Fethiye is located on the site of the ancient city of Telmessos. Fethiye has a Mediterranean climate consisting of very hot, long and dry summers with an average of 34 °C (93 °F) in the daytime.
Itinerary
The plan for the first day is to arrive on a Saturday in Fethiye and get to the Marina. Your check-in on the boat will be at 5 PM and you will spend the night there. Fethiye is a city and district of Muğla Province in the Aegean region of Turkey.
The city is surrounded by some of the world’s most stunning beaches, has a harbor with many boats, a vibrant city life, and delicious cuisine.
Ölüdeniz is a small village in the Fethiye district in the Muğla Province. It is one of the most visited and popular tourist spots on the Turquoise Coast of southwestern Turkey.
The blue lagoon sits within a pebble beach enclosure, and the waters are crystal clear, aquamarine, and differing shades of blue. Behind the town is Mount Babadağ, which sets the pace for the paragliding community. This is considered to be one of the best and most beautiful paraglide locations in the world.
Kas was once a small fishing village, today it is a growing tourist town with a nice marina and perfect conditions for scuba diving. In fact, Kas is considered to be one of Turkey’s main diving centers and it delivers in every sense.
Close to the harbor is an ancient amphitheater, and around the harbor are plenty of small restaurants and taverns providing fresh seafood meals.
36 kilometers east of Kas you will find Theimussa bay, this is a nice bay that is nearly a complete circle, and is considered to be an important anchor for yachts.
Theimussa bay is located very near the sunken city off the island of Kekova and you can see a castle that starts on a hill and needs under the sea.
Kekova is a small and very delightful Turkish island near Demre. The uninhabited island lies opposite the villages of Kaleköy and Üçağız.
Gokkaya bay is close to Kekova. This amazingly beautiful location sits opposite three islands, Asirli island, Kiseli island, and Kasirli island. The bay is home to the town of Ucagiz, a traditional fishing community. Sitting above the town in an ancient ruin of Simena Castle, once used as protection for the region its walls still stand.
Demre, was known as Myra in ancient Lycian times, is on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, in the province of Antalya. The Taurus mountains behind Demre give it a contrasting green and brown against the clear blue sky and the twinkling azure sea.
Just below the Taurus Mountains sits the town of Kalkan. Situated by a harbor at the foot of the Taurus mountains, Kalkan is a resort for those seeking a little more than sun, sea, and sand. It is a sophisticated historic town with some fine examples of Ottoman Greek architecture.
This town has both a small harbor as well as a thriving olive business, and they make a special olive soap unique to their town.
Samanlik Bay is just a short distance from the city in Fethiye, a growing city and itself a popular tourist destination. It has a wonderful natural location with the slopes covered in pine trees.
Turunç Pınarı is on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Fethiye. It is lined by pine trees and is home to a lovely restaurant. The restaurant has a pier with 15 moorings, and it supplies water provisions as well as a few times for restocking. If you take a short walk up the hillside, you will find a natural water spring under a walnut tree. Yachts usually anchor around 25 meters off the shore, and this is a perfect sport for a short landside respite.
