About this program

It is a 7-day sailing route (Saturday to Saturday) on a sailboat that begins and ends in Marmaris.

It is intended for people interested in exploring the beautiful nature and animals of the Turkish coast.

Please note that all restaurants and activities listed are only suggestions and are not included in the price. The route could be changed according to preferences, planned stops can be added or deleted.

About the route

Starting point: Marmaris

Arrival: We can organize the transfer from the airport to the marina. The transfer is not included in the price.

Marmaris is a port city and a tourist center on the Mediterranean coast. It is located along the coast of the Turkish Riviera in the Mugla province. The city has two large marinas and other smaller marinas, making it one of the most sought-after Turkish cities in terms of catamaran, schooner, yacht, and sailboat.

The city has a hot summer Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters. Temperatures are especially hot during the July and August heat waves.

Itinerary

Day 1
Marmaris

The plan for the first day is to arrive on a Saturday in Marmaris and get to the Marina. Your check-in on the boat will be at 5 PM and you will spend the night there. Marmaris is special for the Marmaris Dalyan Turtle Beach, mud baths, and Kings Tombs.

Activities
Experience outdoor sports like horse safari or diving
Visit the Marmaris peninsula and find the Tulipa armena, a beautiful flower introduced during the Ottoman period

Day 2
Ekincik

You can ride up the Dalyan River to the UNESCO ancient city of Caunos, where you’ll see six tombs of the kings cut into the sheer rock face.

Day 3
Kapi Creek

Kapi Creek is a beautiful bay within Skopia Limani area and it has always been a favorite for sailors. There is a good walk up to the summit of the mountain which overlooks the creek.  Views from the top are magnificent and, if lucky, you may even spot a pair of Eleonora’s falcons that frequent the summit.

Day 4
Fethiye

The popular resort Fethiye boasts an important marina at the head of a beautiful bay strewn with islands.

Day 5
Sarsala Koyu

Located in the mesmerizing Skopia Limani bay area, Sarsala Koyu is easily accessible by boat. It’s a natural bay good for swimming or for staying overnight. It has a long stony beach and a valley running inland, which is covered with trees and overlooked by Forestry Mountain.

Day 6
Asi Koyu

Asi Beach/Cove or known as Asi Koyu is hidden between Sarigerme and Dalyan, located after the Mergenli Village. The Beach and surrounding area is cleaned every day by the staff since it’s owned by the Government but leased to a private business enterprise. Tent lodges are scattered around the bay, decorated with comfortable cushions and tables, are available when paid. There are food and beverage service to these lodges throughout the day.

Day 7
Back to Marmaris

You can visit the city center and shop for some Turkish souvenirs. For those who want to spend their last day on the beach, Marmaris has 3 main beaches: Marmaris Urban Beach, Marmaris Long Beach (Uzunyali) , and the main beach of Icmeler. They all offer quality services, great water, and fine sands. After your last day in Marmaris, you can check out from the Marina on Saturday morning, at 9 am.
