Salerno is one of the best starting points for your Amalfi coast cruise. It is located in Gulf of Salerno on the Tirrenian sea. A charming ancient city with narrow streets, medieval churches and houses, offers chilling atmosphere and excellent Mediterranean food.
While sailing from Salerno to Sorrento take a swim break in Sorrento’s sea cliffs and caves. Sorrento has a stunning cliff 55 meters above the sea level from which is growing this small town. Sorrento area is known as a land of citrus, which esquisit lemons are one of the most popular in Italy.
Island of Procida is the only island ever to get the title „Italy’s capital of culture 2022“. It is the smallest island in Naples Gulf, with geographical size of just 4 square kilometres. Although it is not one of the most popular places in Amalfi coast, it was the best movie scenery for Holywood’s The Talented Mr Ripley and Italian movie Il Postino.
Ischia is the largest island in the Naples gulf. Most famous for attractive volcanic thermal spas, nice beaches and exquisite food. Besides idyllic colorful buildings and houses it has the nicest and longest sand beaches in Amalfi coast.
Capri is considered to be, with a full right, one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is on a must see list for every jet-setter and it does offer luxurious vacation with unique places to see. No wonder Roman emperor Tiberius built a series of villas there, including Villa Jovis, today ruins worth to visit. While sunbathing on nice beaches try some of the local province dishes.
