About this program

This is a 7 (Saturday – Saturday) day sailing trip starting from Split and is for those who want to rest, swim and enjoy the sun.

Please note that all restaurants and activities listed are only suggestions, and are not included in the price. The trip can be changed according to your wishes, meaning stops can be added or removed.

Sailing from Split to Dubrovnik attracts many seafarers with its magical beauty and unspoiled nature.

During the sailing season, the Dalmatian archipelago becomes full of life and colors. In secluded bays of pristine nature, you can find your oasis of peace.

At every step of this route, you will be able to taste the best Croatian specialties in traditional restaurants called “konoba”. Fresh seafood and local ingredients will mesmerize your taste buds. Wine lovers will be able to taste exquisite local wines and enrich their gastro experience.

Itinerary

Day 1
Exploring Split

The plan for the first day is to arrive on a Saturday in Split and get to the Marina. Your check-in on the boat will be at 5 PM and you will spend the night there.

Take a walk to forest park “Marjan” and see Split cityscape

Day 2
Hvar (ACI Marina Palmižana, Pakleni islands)

You will sail out in the morning towards the beautiful Pakleni islands. The island of Hvar, the Queen of the Dalmatian islands, is a couple of nautical miles away. The island of Hvar offers dense Mediterranean nature, rich tradition and architecture in Stari Grad, and a lively nightlife.

Vis town, the island of Vis

Its exclusiveness is in the island itself; untouched nature and the people that haven’t been possessed by tourist commercialization. Interesting fact: “Mamma Mia!

Day 4
Zaklopatica, island of Lastovo (National park)

Lastovo is a genuine heaven for lovers of nature, sailing, and good food and wine. Due to its 50 years of military isolation, the island is one of the last untouched areas of the Mediterranean.

Day 5
Polače, island of Mljet (National Park)

Mljet is voted to be “the most seductive island in the Adriatic” by Lonely Planet. It is covered by a dense Mediterranean forest and criss-crossed with a maze of paths that are ideal for tranquil walking.

Day 6
Šipan Luka, Elaphite islands

Šipan is the largest island of the Elaphite archipelago (in Greek meaning the Deer Islands) with quiet bays, beaches, green cypress groves, summer residences of the noblemen and common citizens spread all over the grove-covered hills.

Day 7
ACI Dubrovnik

On the last day, we will make a stop at the Šunj beach on our way to Dubrovnik. Šunj is the most famous sandy beach in the Dubrovnik region. After that, you can enjoy your last evening in Dubrovnik and check out on Saturday morning at 9 am.

Picking out the type of boat to go with will generally come down to your budget, the group size, and preferred method of sailing. Moreover, different sailboats available can be chartered independently or with a fully-staffed crew.
